I knew the consequences of my actions would one day come back to haunt me. I’ve been waiting for it. Anticipating it. Thinking about how I’ll be forced to settle this debt sooner or later.

 

Because of me, my sisters have been sentenced to the underworld, suffering a fate worse than death. I’m not proud of what I’ve done, but it’s something I can’t change.

 

But while I waited for their wrath to find me, I was reckless by forging relationships with people who, in the end, will get caught in the crossfire.

 

It’s only a matter of time before Lina and Arana find me. They will demand atonement. They will be out for blood. My blood.

 

I just pray, when that day comes, I have the strength to protect those I care about most…and get the chance to right all the wrongs I’ve caused.
